
Tuesday Evenings in June Lanequests
Lanequests are orienteering events for cycles (road bikes or mtb) all on country lanes, with a similar format to a score event. Competitors have 2 hours to collect as many controls as possible, scoring 10 points per control, and are penalised for late return. For those with a more relaxed approach, there is a non-competitive class.
You need : A road worthy bike, cycling helmet, map case or map board, and a watch. A pre-marked, A4 colour OS map 1:25,000 or 1:50,000 is provided. Also money for entry (and pub/cafe afterwards!)
Starts are from 5.30 - 7pm, ie LAST finish 9pm
Cost TCA members - £3 Non TCA - £4
12-17yrs - £2
