2002 - week 4 June 25, 2002 Back to events       Thanks to Nicky and Ben (plus all their helpers) for organising another great event in a stunning area. Concerns about the legibility of the reduced scale 1:25,000 maps, and the size of the competition area at Shap, tempted us to try using a 1:50,000 map this week. I would be interested in hearing what people made of the map at this scale. Please email me if you have any comments. Perhaps it was the scale, or the terrain, or a bit of both, but this week was the Lanequest version of the 'penalty shootout'. Results Mens Solo Women's solo Class C & E, Ad Hoc Groups
