Cost : £19.95 for the four courses.

£5.00 deposit per person must be paid when you book, (refundable if you cancel 7 or more days in advance otherwise transferable to another evening). (We now take credit / debit cards).

Arrive between 7.30-9.00pm

Come with friends, bring your own wine and make a night of it ! Of course Hawkshead Brewery Beer Hall will now be open, through our linking door, for drink sales on these evenings as well, come for a pre dinner drink!

(We do have soft drinks for sale).

All the café is No Smoking.

Slide & Supper Evenings

Care and awareness of our affect on our planet is running through our talks this year plus the usual amazing personal stories to be told.

Slide & supper evenings cover a wide range of subjects mostly with an Outdoor theme appealling to the Outdoor activist & armchair enthusiast.

Tickets cost £7 for the evening. Booking is reccommended, tickets must be paid for at the time of booking.

The evening starts promptly at 7.30pm with the slide show followed by a light supper such as lasagne, cottage pie etc. always with a Veggie option. You may bring your own alcholic beverage but tea and coffe will be served with the meal and our usual cakes are available to buy!

The café is available for hire in the evening from 7pm and has been used for a variety of purposes from celebratory parties, sit down dinners to slide shows.
We hope the following will help you choose a meal for your evening.

Terms & Conditions



  • The minimum charge for Café hire is £300 (inclusive of food costs) for departure by Midnight (prompt). There is an additional charge of £100 per hour after midnight.

  • If leaving by 10pm (again prompt!) the min. charge is £250 (inclusive of food costs).

  • All prices include china crockery, metal cutlery (unless stated), serviettes, presentation or serving as appropriate.

  • We have a capacity of up to 100 for a buffet or can seat up to 60 for a sit down meal.

  • All damages must be paid for.

  • A £50 deposit is required to confirm the booking. Non returnable if cancelled within 2 weeks of hire date.

  • As we have no licence you are welcome to bring your own alcohol, we can supply glasses for wine but not beer. HOWEVER during the day to day running of the Café we recycle all bottles and cans, we would like you to do the same! If these are left at the end of the evening we will charge £20 to do this for you.
