Eden Valley section of the CTC
The Eden Valley Section of the CTC (we call ourselves EVCTC) caters primarily for cyclists in Cumbria's Eden Valley which comprises Penrith, Appleby and Kirkby Stephen, but also includes many out of area riders from Carlisle, Cockermouth, Barnard Castle and the Scottish borders. We ride every Wednesday and Sunday.

Kendal Mountaineering Club
An active and friendly Kendal based club. We hold regular meets throughout the year locally and beyond. As well as drinking climbing, members participate in many other outdoor activities such as, walking, ice climbing, skiing, MTB, bouldering, fell running, basically anything outdoors & in the hills.

We meet, socially, every Thursday at the Castle Inn, Castle Street, Kendal from about 9.30 onwards; you can get a map here in winter you will usually find some of us at Kendal Wall before just to work up a thirst. In summer, we organise a series of meets on local crags, weather permitting.
