Staveley Apple Day

Saturday 15th October
FREE family fun - 11am - 4pm

The 2nd Apple day, outside Wilf's Cafe
A GREAT day planned with :

• The Community Apple Press - Bring your spare apples or windfalls (max. 2 buckets per family, thats small buckets not like the chap below!) AND your bottles for the pressed juice, bring more than you think you need!
  

• Opening with the Staveley Kookaburra All Stars
• Story Telling with Nick Hennessy - local Lyth Valley story teller
• The Westmorland Step & Garland Dancers are joining us again
• Ceilidh band - "Common Ground"
• Staveley Street Dancers demo! - Two local youth classes are going show us their moves.
• Banjo Man - Sam Robinson will be playing
  
• Produce stall with all things appley!
• The "Big Draw"  - a national community draw event with the Mill Yard Studios this year titled "Keep your eyes Peeled!"
  
• Free games - longest apple peel competition, Apple bobbing & many others
• Rare apple tasters - which do you like?
• Spinning demonstration
  
• A 'specials' menu dedicated to the apple in Wilf's Cafe
