• In tier two areas (Here) you are NOT allowed to socialise indoors with anyone outside your household.
• However, the Rule of Six applies in outdoor areas, meaning you can go out to eat with up to five other people if you sit outside.
• If you are only going out with people in your house you can eat indoors as usual.

Sept’20 – Positive test result for COVID-19.

Just to let you all know, unfortunately a member of our kitchen team has had a positive test result for COVID-19.

Since reopening in July after lockdown we introduced COVID secure systems and procedures for the safety of both customers and staff. This includes us working in two separate and independent teams “just in case” one of us becomes ill with coronavirus.

This approach has paid off – the rest of that team are now all self-isolating in accordance with Government guidelines.

Following notification of the positive test result we closed, for one day, to carry out a deep clean of the whole cafe. This was done by the other team who continue to work as normal.

The Café is now open but we will close again on Monday and Tuesday next week – 12th and 13th October – to give them a break, reopening again on Wednesday 14th at 9am.

We hope this clarifies things. Thanks to you all for your continued support during these unprecedented times.

We are now all healthy & back at work!
Well done everybody!

Hurrah we are now OPEN!  Things will be a little different but there will be lots the same – there will be Wilf’s Veggie Chilli, Breakfasts, Cakes & more but a pared down menu as we can only have one chef in the kitchen.

There are procedures to follow & a supervisor to obey & I’m afraid the queue will be outside so come prepared!  Brollies make great social distancing tools.

Come & visit but be patient we are learning as well.

Best wishes
